If you have lost your SIM Card and you want to protect it from unauthorized use, you have to block it. Subsequently, we will issue a substitute SIM Card with the same phone number.
The SIM Card can be blocked easily in the My Vodafone Self Care in the menu Services - SIM card and mobile phone. You can also call the Customer Care line *77 (800 77 00 77) or visit one of Vodafone stores. To block the SIM, you have to know the user password. We will block your SIM Card within 60 minutes of your request. The blocking of the SIM Card is free of charge.
As we still charge you the fees for services and bundles while your SIM Card is being blocked, make sure you pick up your new SIM Card as soon as possible.
By blocking the phone number with the DoubleSIM service, both SIM Cards get blocked. For future use of the DoubleSIM Card service, we will send you both new SIM Cards, even if you only lost one. So that, even if you only use one SIM Card, you get two new ones. To block and order the SIM Card, the same procedures apply as if to get a standard SIM Card.
