You can enable, disable, or change the PIN code for your SIM/eSIM through your phone's menu. The procedures may vary for different phones. Below, you will find examples of where to find the settings for Android phones or iPhones.
The following steps apply to Samsung brand phones; the process may vary slightly for other manufacturers.
If you have multiple SIM cards installed in your phone, you will see an option to select the one for which you want to change the PIN settings in the SIM cards section.
If you are enabling the PIN code, the phone will prompt you to enter the PIN (information on how to find the PIN code can be found here). Once the PIN is active, you can change it or disable it again, which you will confirm by entering the currently valid PIN.
