Frequently Asked Questions
What is Vodafone Fixed Voice Network?
Vodafone Fixed Voice Network (VoCable) consists of the Data over cable system interface with the international standard DOCSIS, where a voice service (Vodafone fixed line) is provided to customers via the hybrid optical-coaxial HFC infrastructure using the SIP protocol.
If the call in the contractual documentation includes a call in the Vodafone Fixed Network free of charge (originally in the exUPC network), this means:
- calls in Vodafone fixed voice network (VoCable)
- calls from this network to the VoxDSL network where, among other things, we provide customers with a voice service (Vodafone calls from IP phones).
This applies to selected Vodafone Landline tariffs.
Can I still use my voicemail?
Of course, you only need to reactivate it. Simply call 608 98 98 98 (speed dial for voicemail *98) from your landline (after services have been transferred), where you can easily set everything up.
Please note - your original voicemail will stop working after the service is transferred to Vodafone, including any recordings.
Will my current landline setup still work?
Unfortunately, when transferring the service to Vodafone's IT systems, all current fixed line settings will be cancelled, such as redirection to another number or blocking of certain calls - international, to paid lines, etc.
However, you can easily restore this setting My Vodafone, section My Services / Network Services section.
Where can I find the OKU code needed for the change of operator?
The new OKU authorization code (subscriber verification code), needed to transfer your telephone number to another provider, can be found in My Vodafone.
