Violeta Luca

Violeta Luca has been in charge of Czech Vodafone since January 2024. Before that, she was the CEO of Microsoft Czech Republic and Slovakia. And before that, she was the CEO of Microsoft in Romania. Violeta Luca has managed transformation projects in retail, banking, e-commerce, healthcare and telecommunications. She has long focused on the development of digital skills, innovation and support for start-ups; she also provides active mentoring to empower women in their professional and management careers. She has received numerous awards and was recognised by Forbes as one of the 20 most influential women in Fintech in the CR and one of the TOP CEOs in 2023. In the Manager of the Year 2022 competition, she won in the Foreign Manager category. Before joining Microsoft, she worked at companies such as Metro Cash & Carry, Dante International, Flanco Retail, Whirlpool and AIG. She graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania.

Magdaléna Wavle

Vice President of Human Resources

Magdaléna Wavle

Magdaléna Wavle joined Vodafone in 2018 as the Development and Talent Director. Since 2021, she's been the Vice President of Human Resources. She believes that employee education is crucial for the productivity of a company. One of the most important areas that she promotes at Vodafone is flexibility. She is convinced that employees should be able to work with their individual needs in mind. She's also in charge of the facility management team that introduces new technology to Vodafone buildings and seeks a balance between innovation, energy efficiency and employee satisfaction. Before joining Vodafone, she worked at Microsoft and GE Money Bank. She has international work experience from the USA and Germany and prefers to spend her free time with her family.

Veronika Brázdilová

Vice President of Corporate Clients

Veronika Brázdilová

Veronika Brázdilová started her career as a sales representative at Eurotel and eventually worked her way up to National Sales Manager. She utilised all of this experience in her next role as the CEO of SGS, a company working in telemetry and monitoring systems. Then she returned to the world of telecommunications as a Sales Director for the SME segment at Telefónica Czech Republic. From 2014 to 2020, she was the CEO of Xerox Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. She joined Vodafone in September 2020 as Vice President of Care and Sales and since 2021 has been in charge of the Corporate Clients Department. For years, Veronika has been actively involved in mentoring and she supports many charity projects. She is a passionate traveller and has been recognised by Forbes as one of the most influential women in the Czech Republic.

Catalina Chiribau

Vice President of Finance and Strategy

Catalina Chiribau

Catalina Chiribau has extensive experience in the international environment. She started her career at Vodafone in 2007 in Romania and has since worked in key positions in the UK, Singapore and Italy. Before joining Vodafone, she gained valuable experience at Microsoft and KPMG.

Pavel Škarda

Vice President of Care and Sales

Pavel Škarda

Pavel Škarda focuses on call centre management, customer processes and other forms of client care. He joined Vodafone in 2019 during the integration of UPC, where as Operations Manager he improved customer satisfaction by introducing new technologies and processes. He also led several customer experience initiatives. Under his leadership, a number of commercial and transformation projects were delivered, including the final phase of the UPC integration, the acquisition of SAZKAmobil and the simplification of project management.

Richard Stonavský

Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and External Relations

Richard Stonavský

Richard Stonavský is in charge of Vodafone's external relations and regulatory strategy. In his role, he promotes the company's interests in negotiations with regulatory authorities and public institutions in the Czech Republic and the EU and oversees Vodafone's activities in interest and industry associations. He is also the Chairman of the Board of the Vodafone Foundation. Before joining Vodafone, he was in charge of regulatory activities at T-Mobile and Aliatel; he also worked as an assistant in the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. He recharges his energy on his travels and in the mountains.

Zohar Weitz

Vice President of the Consumer Segment

Zohar Weitz

Zohar Weitz relocated to the Czech Vodafone in January 2022 from the London headquarters where she was a Sales Director for the European market, including Turkey and Egypt. She was in charge of the “always on” strategy of digital marketing across the Vodafone Group which focuses on a continuous stream of communication with customers. She launched a global transformation programme focused on digital Customer Value Management. This programme helps determine what's important to customers in the purchasing process. She's been with Vodafone since 2012; before that, she worked for 14 years for various organisations and companies in the telecommunications sector in Israel. In the Czech Republic, she’s in charge of the entire marketing team and responsible for the sale of services to customers who have contracts and services from Vodafone registered in their name or use prepaid cards. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, doing yoga and making trips in nature.

Petr Brunclík

Vice President of Information Technology

Petr Brunclík

Petr Brunclík has been the Vice President of Information Technology since September 2021. He joined Vodafone from the world of banking. He worked at the Slovenian NLB Group as Operating Director and has previous work experience from Home Credit and GE Money. His priority is to stimulate collaboration across the company to ensure Vodafone can implement its commercial strategies and succeed in providing new services on the telecommunications market. He focuses on improving digital services for our customers, streamlining IT, automating and accelerating delivery. In his free time, he likes to do sports.

Miroslav Bula

Vice President of Networks

Miroslav Bula

Miroslav Bula joined Vodafone in 2006 as a network architect. Then he spent several years in charge of the planning of the development of the exchange part of the network and access network strategy. He was also behind the introduction of new network functionalities and the creation of a team responsible for stable operations. He has been instrumental in the management of several key Vodafone projects. These include the deployment of 3G, 4G and 5G networks, the first 5G holographic call in Karlovy Vary in 2019, the construction of a Narrow Band network for the Internet of Things (NB-IoT) and the coverage of the Prague metro with mobile signal. He was also responsible for the integration of fixed networks gained through the UPC acquisition into the Vodafone infrastructure. Since February 2022, he has been the Vice President of Network Operations and Development. Before joining Vodafone, he spent several years at T-Mobile CZ and T-Mobile International in Bonn. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his two children, travelling, staying in nature and fishing.
